Can you feel the end of summer in the air? In amongst the green there is now an occasional falling leaf. We are headed for a time of great transition as we end our schedules for one part of the year and turn towards a different pattern.
Before we know it, the days will begin to grow cooler and shorter, as nature moves into its next cycle of divine pattern. And we will find ourselves among different groups of friends and extending our circles at this time. it can take a lot of energy. We also suddenly find ourselves in the car more.
The Mystical Musings podcast has several episodes dedicated to energetic hygiene and keeping your balance during this time. And if you are feeling overwhelmed from summer "stuff" and feel that a good house cleaning is in order, you might want to check out Episode 50 to get yourself fired up about that. What is a Death Cafe?
At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. This Death Cafe session will be hosted by Tava Baird.
Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.
A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.
Our Death Cafes are always offered:
- On a not-for-profit basis
- With no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action
- Alongside drinks and food – we'll have donuts, juice, and coffee!
